REBATES are a RIPOFF scam

On 10/29/01 I purchased Window's XP Home Edition Upgrade software (99.90), My CD Labeler software (19.99), 50 Pack Black Diamond CD's (29.99), and Sony CD Rewriter (99.98). The rebate offer was purchase Window's XP Home Edition Upgrade and receive My CD Labeler, 50 Pack Black Diamond CD's, and Sony CD Rewriter Free.

I received a $100.00 check, but didn't receive the other $50.00. I called the Staples/experience number (1-877-580-4628) and was told that the $50.00 check would be in the mail in 15 working days. I have called back numerous times and listened to the autmated answering machine which told me to go to their website and file my claim. The website didn't have any information about filing or tracking a rebate claim.
