I am only sending the cover letter I wrote to eBay but if anyone wants the supporting documents, just ask:

The charges to which you refer on the reverse of this letter are absolutely FRAUDLENT. I did not submit these ads and furthermore, they do not offer any product for sale. Only an idiot or a thief would submit such an ad and I do not fit either title. As you know, the IP of the person submitting the ads can easily be determined but this is only if eBay is interested in taking care of it's customers. (See Attachment 1)

I was first made aware of suspicious activity on my account on December 12 when PayPal sent me an advisory. (See Attachment 2)
My account had already been charged on November 16 but I was unaware of this charge because I had not accessed my account. (See Attachments 3) This charge was not reversed as I requested and still stands (See Attachment 4)

On Jan 11, eBay sent me an advisory that my credit card was declined. This is natural since I declared the card lost because neither eBay nor PayPal had made any attempt to credit me with the money they misappropriated from my account and I anticipated a second try. My suspicions were proven to be correct. (See Attachment 5)
Now, you are making a third attempt at FRAUD and EXTORTION, which will also prove unfruitful.

I am an old man and my only income is from a small U.S. Army Pension and Social Security neither of which is attachable. Further, I am making copies of all of these documents and will forward them to the Attorneys General of Arizona, California, Minnesota, and Illinois unless a refund check and letter of apology from you are not forthcoming within a reasonable length of time.

After his attack on December 7,1941, Isoroku Yamamoto said: I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve. Those words could have very well been said of this situation because; I will not sleep until justice is done, and will do whatever is necessary to get my money back, receive an apology, and have my account reinstated by eBay.

Your entire organization is prone to quote legalities now I will cite just one: Fraud and Extortion are crimes and are punishable in every state and since this fraud crosses state lines, I feel that the Federal Government may be involved. (This will be pursued if necessary).
