Led me to believe that I could get federal grants for school. Payed them $299.99 Ripoff

Back in September as I was looking for government grants for college I requested information from American Solution Center. They called me back and assured me that I could get federal grants. All I had to do was to pay them $299.99 for attorney's fees. I payed them the money and in about a month I received a package asking questions about my disabilities, and other information. The reason why I did this is because I was involved in an auto accident six years ago and I'm now on Social Security and I was finally able to go back to school to learn a new trade since I was unable to go back to my former position. I have called them many times and their reply was "don't worry, you'll have your grants in time for the winter semester." Everytime I did call them an automatic voice mail machine came on the line and said how everyone was so busy that they would call me back. I've tried calling them for the last two days and their voice mail is filled so that I can't leave a message. I want my money back from this company.
