My son asked to use my credit card to purchase a camera for christmas. He's 17. He came across a website with a "free offer for a service, "only $1.97 for 21 day trial period."

Less than two weeks later charges started appearing on my credit card. Fastauctions.com is a scam organization.

I called the toll free number and canceled the account, here is where it gets interesting. The gentleman I spoke with told me I needed to have my bank fax a copy of my credit card statement to them. I told him I'd just put a copy in the mail. He claimed the charges were not showing up as billed to my account on his computer. He stated that mailing a copy of my printout bank statement was insufficient. I called the bank and was told my statement would have all my personal information on it. Social security number, account number, etc.

Don't deal with these people you'll get burned.
