Used derogatory language and threatened to have my wife sent deported. Ripoff

For 4 months, I have been repeatedly harassed by one of Andersen Crenshaw's agents for a debt that I do not owe.

Andersen Crenshaw has been trying collect a debt that is invalid because the company, Protech Security of Atlanta, failed to completely and correctly install a security system in my home. I notified Protech for 6 months that the security system was not completely installed but they failed to correct the problem. As a result, I canceled the service based on their inability to correct the problem.

I do not owe Protech because they failed to fulfill their portion of our agreement.

I am upset because Andersen Crenshaw's committed a number of violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.in one conversation with my wife he used abusive language and ethnic slurs regarding my last name and my religion. He told my wife he would have her sent back to Iraq.

My wife is actually dutch/irish and our families have been in the us for 7 generations. We have arabic/eastern sounding names.

What Andersen Crenshaw and Associates did is illegal and abusive. Furthermore, I receive a harassing call from this agent every week. I have sent a registered letter to Andersen Crenshaw asking them to cease and desist and to only correspond with me via mail.

I have spoken to Equifax and filed a complaint with the FTC regarding this debt collection and the violations made by Andersen & Crenshaw. I am aware of my rights under the law. I feel that the steps taken by this agent have been especially abusive.

Andersen & Crenshaw is a terrible company and my credit has been seriously affected by Protech security and Andersen & Crenshaw.
