Infinity Payment Systems
Dishonest poor service broken promises refused refund ripoff

Education & Science

Wow. Be very careful who you do business with.infinity Payment Systems sold me something they couldn't deliver and then screwed me over in so many ways it's not even funny.

To make a long story short, they have about $500 and I have absolutely nothing to show for it.

Be VERY careful when you give out your bank account information on a credit app or merchant account application. They wired $400 of the $500 they got from me directly from my account AFTER we'd discussed the fact that they couldn't provide what they promised and AFTER I'd asked for a refund.

Since I tried to resolve the situation with them amicably I waited too long to complain to my bank. They said that my only recourse was to fight it legally so the money was just taken right from my account.

The problem began with an unwanted telemarketing call from Infinity Payment Systems. Apparently the salesperson would tell me whatever I wanted to hear to get the sale because when the tech people sent me instructions to setup the account, it was instructions for a product we never even talked about and one that I couldn't use. When it came to light that Infinity Payment Systems doesn't even sell what I was originally promised they offered to help set me up with that from somewhere else at a cost of $20 extra per month.

Since I knew I could get what I wanted from the company I usually work with without needing to pay the extra $20/month I asked for a refund based on their obvious error.in fact I was told that I would get a refund and I went ahead and setup an account with another merchant provider.

It was only after this additional effort and expense that Infinity Payment Systems suddenly changed their minds and decided to refuse my refund essentially charging me $500 for nothing. They'd also already closed out my account and i'd setup a new one elsewhere so I really had no choice but to move ahead and hope to resolve this.

After numerous attempts at contact and discussions with arrogant and very rude customer service people I had to give up.

The thing to remember is that there are many many merchant account providers and there is no excuse for working with such a low quality company. A merchant company should be a valuable partner in your business. They have access to your bank accounts and they handle much of your money. You don't want an unethical company that close to your business. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a legitimate merchant processing company.
