Fraudulent judgment, creditor harassment

On June 16, we received a call from "Tiffany" saying she was from an attorney's office, Wilfred Briesemeister, and that they had a judgment against us for $13,000.in addition to harassing us through telephone calls, they called my place of employment and informed the payroll department they wanted to garnish my payroll check for the judgment. My employer asked me to please request that they stop calling the payroll office.

We had a credit check conducted and there is no $13,000 judgment and no amount due to Direct Merchant, supposedly the party who obtained a judgment.

Not only is there a fraudulent judgment but harassing calls to us and my employer have created defamation issues.

In addition to this report, we are going to file a report against Wilfred Briesemeister with the California State Bar Association. His bar number is 68707.
