Ripoff, debited my account twice!

Back in he beginning of November I recieved a postcard in the mail imforming me that I was approved for a credit card for $5,000 regardless of my past credit. I gave the company my debit card number and the money was taken out on Novemeber 5. After waiting some amount of time I called and complained. I told them that I did not want the merchandise anymore and to please give me a refund. I was told that I had to wait to recieve the package to get a refund. I spoke to the Customer Service personnel on as many as 6 different times, and yet on April 22 I have recieved nothing.

On Saturday April 20 my account was debited ANOTHER $239 dollars, by a company named Central Direct!!! Enraged that they took more money from me, I called my bank and they are disputing with the company. The only telephone number that I could get was a customer service number for Central Direct 1-800-476-4828, and then I was informed that Nexel went out of business. Then was given another number for Central Direct 1-866-809-1818. I spoke to a man there who took my name and number and said that he would get back to me on why my accout was debited again. (Yeah right...)

A co-worker had a similar situation happen to her, and told me that if the company went out of business that there should be a trustee name and somehow down the road we could get our money back. So if anyone knows the address where this company operated out of please tell. I don't think that the address on the card was real according to other whom have tried to return the packages.

This is a real shame. I am a student who just wanted to establish credit and now I have lost over $478 dollars.
I hope that maybe a class action can be started and hopefully others can be forwarned by this report.

But as far as I am concerned close your accounts! They might debit another chunck of your money!!!
