Ripoff grant money taxes

Education & Science

I was called on March 6th approximately 4:45pm by a "Tina Parker" who offered me a $12,500.00 Grant. I was told that I was entitled to the grant money for the taxes that I payed into the government previously. She made sure to give an address and an employee number and also asked me what bank I used and to verify the routing number. She then transfered me to someone who would give me a "Grant confirmation number."

The gentleman addressed himself as "Jude Davis" and also gave an employee number. He then tried to get me to agree to pay $250.00, when I said no, he said "no problem" and said that he would waive that fee and then asked me for $59.99. Again I said no and he then said that I would recieve an information packet in the mail which would include a $500.00 "Gift" within two days. After that he wanted to be able to take $59.99 out of my account and I said no. He told me to please hold and he would send me to talk to someone who would go over the terms and conditions with me. It was an automatic voice asking me for my bank account info and I then hung up.

They tried calling me back 7 times with 2 voicmails that were just people talking in the back ground. I did not answer again. This is not the first time that I have been solicited on the phone by people offering me grants. They speak in Middle east accents and always offer the same amount of $12,500.00 in grant money. I had just gotten out of the U.S. Air Force in February when they first contacted me and took $400.00 out of my checking account. I later filed a fraud report with my bank and got a new account because it showed that the individual had tried to run the transaction several times over. During the end of this call I recieved today, I got on "Google.com" and searched "National Choice" and found this site.
