Ripoff

I recieved a call at 5:38pm on Apirl 8 from a company named American Grant. There was a gentleman on the phone offering me a 5k grant each of multiple grants or only one. He needed to verify my name, address, if I had filed taxes within the past three years.

Then he wanted to verify who I was by my account number and routing number on my checks. I told him what bank I deal with and routing number but refused to give them my account number. The man I was speaking to stated that it was just verifaction processes and put another person on.

This time it was a women she said her name was Alina Robin employee number E152. She stated the same thing over again and refused to take no for an answer about the account number. So I told her to mail me the information and I would look over it then. I told her that I was ripped off before in the past for over $500 before this same way. After she gave me the information of the company I googled it and told her what I found. Then, she hung up on me.
