Ripoff attempt, did not give them any info

I simply did not give them any info, I told her my checkbook was with my wife who was not home. She did, however, read to me a number and said it was the one on the bottom of my checks and for me to confirm it when she called back. The call came at appx. 7:00 PM, Wed. 3-1-06."Shirley" said she would call back when my info was available (next day), that was 2 days ago and still no call. I don't think I will hear anymore from them or anything to do with my accounts either. Thank you.
