25 Sept Just rec'd long, insistent phone call. "I'd been randomly selected to receive $1,000., 3 day vacation, etc. Just give $1.99 (no cashier check, debit card, credit card accepted, because you can get scammed by people doing this.) Just look on my checkbook and give them the number at the bottom". When I told the "India sounding voice" I give no such info on the phone-suddenly a male came onto the phone speaking a mile-a-minute. Loud & angry, more insistent I give hime the info he needed. They are a very good company. Asked if I'd ever been scammed? To which I informed him I was not & will Not be the idiot he hoped I would be & informed him this conversation was over...
