Colgate - Palmolive
Refund/Rebate Ripoff

Education & Science

During the period of 1/2 and 1/31 Colgate ran a refund offer where you buy certain products in one shopping trip in order to receive a $10.00 refund. I mailed in my required receipts, UPC codes and order form on 1/10.

I received a letter on 4/22 telling me that those products were not on the qualifying list. I had the list and I saw them there. I immediately wrote to the Consumers Affairs division of Colgate for an explanation. I did not receive any explanation. I still don't know what didn't qualify or why.

These types of refund offers are always like that and people need to know about them. Nobody ever complains; they just assume they must be wrong. Well, I'm sick of it. My only recourse until today was to not buy any Colgate/Palmolive products and alert all my friends and family to do the same in my support.

Like all other big corps. Rip you off when it's not regulated. I'm thinking a socialistic money system is the only way to rein these guys in
