Free Grant Money if you give me your bank account number, ripoff!

I have recieved numerous phone calls in the past few days on both my work line and cell phone from:

Government Grant Department.

They all follow the same basic pattern of lots of fast talk about how I have been specially chosen to recieve $5000 of grant money for free. They emphasize numerous times whenever you question if they are legite with "You do understand you are going to recieve $5000 free that you never have to pay back!".

I was "chosen" since I paid my taxes on time (whatever). To get me my money they only need my checking account number so I do not have to wait a second longer for my free money!

I asked if they were a marketting call. They said "You do understand you are going to recieve $5000 free that you never have to pay back!". I asked if they were a scam, and they said "You do understand you are going to recieve $5000 free that you never have to pay back!". Then I asked that they just send me the check and I would be glad to cash it. They couldn't not do that (of course) but just needed my bank account number.

I laughed and have just toyed with them... But there may be people out there that believe this $%^&... Don't! Only thing you will get is a cleaned out bank account. Never... Never... Give out your bank account or any personal information on the phone to calls you have recieved. Ask for something in writing in the mail. If they can't... They are scammers.
