Ripoff

In 1996 shortly before my now 5 year old child was born I received a letter from Sparrowgrass Poetry Forum telling me of my excellence in form etc for a couple of poems I submitted for their contest.

Upon receiving more letters from them I sent 25.00 for a deposit on their Summer 1997 Poetic Voices of America. I was never again contacted.

From time to time I take the letters out and remiss about my plans to show this book to my 7 children to prove that mommy at least did SOMETHING worthwhile in her life. My 5 year old has become very interested in poetry now and I thought just maybe I got lost in the cracks back then. Considering this was the child I did this for I decided to check into it.

Upon looking up Sparrowgrass on the internet I found this sight and am greatly disturbed that this company has been doing this to people for so long. I was scammed in 1996 and I see in 6 years the only thing different is the price has gone up.

If anything can be done to stop this I would like to know what and would help in anyway.
