Two stolen TVs, $250 monthly payments and small claims papers

I purchased 2 televisions from Aaron's and paid on them for several months. After I owned them for a few months, they were taken from my home, so I notified Aaron's about this problem. They told me they have no protection for stolen property, so I continued to pay for the property for a month or two longer. I run a repo company, so my money got tight and I fell behind on my payments. I called and told him the situation (again, it was a new employee) and had to explain again that the property was stolen. At this time the new manager's name was "Ben," a very respectful and understanding man. I told him I wanted to pay for the property, and he said we could rewrite the lease and try to lower the payments. He called his manager, "George," for this area. George refused to lower the payments.

Today, Nov 22, I called George, and he stated that he has taken out small claims papers on me. I told him I am willing to pay, but I cannot afford $250.00 a month for property I do not even have, and I would like to make arrangements to pay this. He said that if I could not pay the full amount, he would refuse the payments. As far as I know from repoing cars, the creditor can refuse money offered in an attempt to pay the debt. I do not know what I should do. They are refusing to work with me and are refusing to accept any other money from me. Like I told him, the contract is voided as of now since I am in default of my contract. I am not trying to rip them off. All I want is some understanding in the situation so I can pay my debt. I would be open to any suggestions.
