Ripoff, GSI 6000 grant, phone scams

GSI Contacted me and, as I'm sure you are aware, offered me $6000 in grant money from the federal government. The Indian lady told me her name was Mary John #088.

Throughout the call she said it would cost "Two
ninety-eight" for processing. I became suspicious when she quickly asked an approval question and sped through "two hundred ninety-eight dollars. OK?" I looked online as I was speaking to her and said I did not want to continue with the service.

After working with an in-coming call center, I know some legal aspects of companies like this. I asked her if the company was a member of the Better Business Bureau and she said yes. After I continuously told her i did not want the service, and mentioned I was looking a a website that reported scams and Grant Services Incorporated was on it, she hung up.

I located the number on line at usacomplaints.com and called them back. I asked to have all of my information removed from the system and the lady said it was done (before she even knew who I was) she then got an attitude and said all of my information is public. I then asked where I could get a public listing of cell phone numbers seeings how thats where I recieved the initial call. It is public she said. I asked if I could speak to a supervisor and she said that her supervisor was out to lunch. I then asked to speak to any supervisor and she said no. She said no. I hung up.

Please help get this company off the phones and out of our wallets. The phone number I recieved on my caller ID was 001819. The customer service number (866) 999-1896.
