Dishonest practices Ripoff

Purchashed a Transmission for a 96 jeep grand cherokee 6cyl. 2 wheel drive, 1996 with 45,000 miles. Sent all info for car and check over phone for 745.00 to be delivered to Sumner motors in Gallatin, TN. On 9/21/05.

Informed by garage wrong transmission was sent. Machanic spoke with Shawn about type of car, Brother spoke with him and I also told him it was a 96 Grand Cherokee 6cyl 2 wheel drive. Gave vin # to vehicle.

Talk with Dale first befor I purchased. Quoted a price and then spoke to Shauwn to give check info the next day. Called the next day and told Dale what Shawn said. Dale said do not listen to Shawn, he does not work over here. He does not know. Shawn told me not to listen to Dale about my transmission. Tried to talk to Shawn and he started hollering and did not want to pay for shipping back because he said it was garage fault they told him wrong info.

3 different people told him what type car and engine it was. Shaun sent transmission for a 4wheel drive and I have a 2 wheel drive which he was told on numerous occassions.

Website for WI courts show numerous cases filed against company and Shawn Brayden. Also goes under a alais and different names for the company... Lev and Ed/Mid City Auto parts/Mid City Auto Salvage.
