I met C. J through my mother at her work, his mother and mine used to work together. I told him I needed a new computer for school and he offered to custom build me one for $400.

Some how $400 turned into $1,000 and it wound up costing me $1,600 total. I repeatedly told him I wanted receits and he told me that he was getting the pc parts from under the table from pc store owners at cost.

He refused to give me their names and numbers. A few months passed and no computer, finally he brought one by and said it was finished, all I needed was my own version of windows. It had a lot of problems I called his house and got his brother.

I explained the problem, and his bro told me that he thinks the pc c. J brought over to me was his 5 year old computer b/c it was missing. He came over and confirmed, I was furious!

His brother called his parents and told them and they said that C. J claimed it was only a temporary borrowed one. I called the cops and made a fraud report, C. J finally called me and promised the final pc in a few days. It had problems as well it kept crashing, his brother tried to fix it but couldn't. His brother recommended that I take it to this pc store where that's where they take their pc's to be fixed and their friends of the family. I took my pc there and told them the whole story, and when he saw it and checked the serial numbers on it, to our shocking amazement it was the stolen pc that went missing a few weeks ago! C. J called just after our gruesome discovery to ask if his laptop was ready to be picked up, he came in and was confronted. He lied and still claims to this day that he got it from a flea market in Ocala. His mother paid me back in full.
