I paid for two sets of two New England Patriots tickets for the Oct. 2 game through eBay and PayPal. Seller claimed he'd mail the tickets once he received them. I called Gillette Stadium and found out the tickets had been mailed out so I contacted seller again and he said he'd mail them after Labor Day, which would have been more than the 45 days allowed to file a dispute claim with PayPal. EBay allows up to 60 days. He purposely stalled until it was too late to file a claim to get my money back and eBay will only give up to $200 back. I did contact my credit card company. I wish I had read Michael, of Ashley, PA's report earlier. I thought it would be safe to purchase through eBay/PayPal with an item number, etc.
Never answer an e-mail from freshburst12, yayeah@aol.com or netickets@aol.com. Michael Page probably uses a number of other different e-mail addresses and phony names on eBay.
If you've been ripped off as well, please file a report to help warn others. We're on to you, Michael Page!
