Ripoff mastercard scam

Education & Science

Well add me to the list. I got the call telling me I was approved for a mastercard, $2000 limit with no interest for the first year for a 249.00 fee. I was told I would receive my card within 25 working days. I fell like a ton of bricks. After the call I had an ache in my gut that something was terribly wrong with that call. I immediately initiated credit protection on my credit reports to block any unauthorized accounts opening in my name. I called the 866-333-7715 number and the lady told me I would receive my package. I still was uneasy but I waited in hopes everything was on the up an up.

After the time elapse I called back to inquire about my card and was told that there was a problem. Someone had received a duplicate card and they were correcting this and I would recive my Package soon. Yesterday I received my package and let me tell you what it included.in a brown box was a large yellow envelope with no markings. Get this another credit card application for a Cash Mastercard of which a $39.95 fee is charged to get a card of which I would need to deposit cash to use. Some advertisements for a cell phone, satelite TV, 5000 minute phone card, fast cash, car loans and a brochure for a trip to Cancun, Mexico. This one topped them all. There's a nicely printed booklet on how to repair your credit and the big one, a beautiful booklet on Identity Theft Prevention. I had a terrible anxiety attack and after I gathered myself I went to the internet and googled every string associated with these monsters. Mastercard should launch a full federal investigation to catch these theives just for using there good name to defraud the public. Of course I attempted to contact the customer service 866 number but the line has been busy continuously. No surprise. I hope this story get to the right people to bring these scammers down.
