Refused payment arrangements, ran my credit with out permission ripoff

I contacted this agency and tried to set up payments of $50.00 per month because thats all i could afford at the time, mind you this account is my new husbands account! Anyway, they refused my offer and said either I pay the balance in full or 100.00 per month which I knew I could not afford.

I reminded Ms. White that I in fact contacted her, not vice versa, she then asked for my financial information which I refused, then asked for my SS# which I refused, but in that 5 minute conversation she somehow ran something and got my SS# then had the nerve to say "are you trying to buy a house?" I told her I was eventually and asked how she knew that and she stated that she had just ran my report!

I was angry that she was able to do that with OUT my permission, or my giving her my SS#. Can they actually do that! I at least made an attempt to arrange payments and they refused them. Can you believe that? In the end I told her if I send a payment and she returns it I will indicate paid in full on the check and see them in court.
Remember folks when paying off a debt always ask for a letter indicating the account is paid in full and write it on your stubs.

Don't pay by fone or they will go in and take it out when they want, always offer to deposit right into there account or send a money order. Giving your information by phone gives them access at any time regardless of them saying it dont, they lie it does.
