Didn't follow their own policy, wouldn't grant me the 3 credits i earned in my 2nd class after i arrived the last night 25mins late when the 6pm -10pm class was let out after less then 30mins. Ripoff

On the last night of my second class, I arrived to class at 6:25pm. I was not sure where to park after seeing police and an ambulance in the university's parking lot, so I parked at the 7-11 next door and walked over, but only to discover an emty classroom! A class mate informed me that the professor let the class out early after telling everyone to sign the roster.

I was scheduled to attend this class from 6pm until 10pm on Tuesday evenings. Regardless of the incident in the parking lot that night, I take responsibility for being late. But, I did not know the class was going to be let out over 3 1/2 hours early, especially when the class is only scheduled for 4 hours.

I recieved a grade of "WP" for "WITHDREW PASSING". I did not get any credits for the class and was told I'd have to retake it. My counselor's were not any help. They didn't answer my questions. They didn't even tell me who I should address my concerns and questions to. All they said in regards to my concerns about the 3credits I lost, was that I'd have to speak with the professor of that class and that he's the only one who can change my grade.

That professor responded to my email and stated that the university issued the "w" part of my grade and that therefore he could only decide if my grade should be "WP" (withdrew passing) or "WF" (withdrew failing).

The "W" was apparently issued because that last night I was not in class. When I explained to my counselors that I was in class, but the students and professor were not, all they said is that they do not know who I should speak with and that I should not expect the "w" to change and that I have to pay out of pocket for the class $990. I still will not get any credits for that class!

When I left a message on my academic counselor's voicemail saying I was on the road heading over to the campus in hopes of speaking with her since an appointment seemed impossible. She returned my call in minutes to tell me that comming in was not neccasary until my financial aid counselor was back from vacation so we could all meet together. I told her that while trying to straighten out the mess from my second class, I want to be in attending my other classes so that i do not lose my financial aid. She said i would be scheduled to start a class the comming tuesday. To my suprise, she scheduled me for the same class that I recieved the "wp" in!

It is nearly impossible to reach my counselors. Even when i waited over an hour because the girls at the desk forgot who i was waiting on and called for my counselors a second time, when i showed up in person, my financial aid counselor just looked at me like i was crazy... And shrugged his shoulders not knowing how to assist me. He said he would find out some things for me and be in touch soon. I havent heard from him since. But i did recieve letters from the school's collection agency and notices that i am no longer enrolled due to my balance with them.
