Ripoff! Almost sucked into the scam!

HI, I also received a letter saying i was apprved for a 10,000 dollar credit line. They want me to send 37.00 dollars and sign the form they sent. I was suspicious of the company so i decided to check up on it and i found this sight after i did a search on google for the company name.

I am glad that i did because i would have been another victom of this scam. I want to make everyone aware of another scam, the company is Ameriline. They call claiming to be offering you a credit card from your bank. They ask you to let them draft $199.00 from youre account for a one time membership fee.

Like a idiot i authorized them to do that and they have a so called bank representative to call you back AND VERIFY YOURE ACCOUNT INFO. Only you give them youre account number and routing number. They have a company called netchex to electronically draft the fee out of youre account.

I had a few days before they called quincadentaly applied for a credit card through my bank so i thought they had approved me and was calling to get everything set up. I asked the person was they calling from my bank and the person said yes.

I sent them a letter warning them that if they did not refund my money that i was going to take the matter to court. Any way the netchex people ended up refunding my money. So don't get sucked into that scam either.
