Cor Concepts, Cydcor need to look up "opportunity" in the dictionary Bala Nationwide

Education & Science

I responded to several ad's on online job boards for entry level jobs and immediately recieved calls from three different companies to set up interviews, I was offered the "opportunity" to come back for a second interview and day of observation at all three. The first interview I had was with Defrancesco Acquisitions in NJ, this interview lasted maybe five minutes before I was asked to come back in for a second interview, I later declined because I thought it to be shady.

At Cor Concepts my interviewer seemed to be genuine and the interview even lasted more then five minutes! So, I decided to give it a shot and go to the second interview. While waiting in the reception area another guy coming for his second interview and I were talking and he mentioned that he had a suspision that all of these companies were somehow connected. He was promplty asked to step out in the hallway, and I never saw him again.

Now, I wonder why the red flags didn't go off. But, I was just about to graduate college and was willing to give anything a chance. On my day of observation my interviewer was enthuasastic about the business and she was good at what she did, which I now see as sugar coating the fact that for the next two weeks I would be working over ten hour days for a commision that only ammounted to far less then minimum wage. But, again I was ready to give anything a chance, and was excited at this "opportunity."

Over the next two weeks I trained and wasn't paid a dime, eventually they put me out on my own where I made one sale, and only saw a portion of what I thought I had earned. I worked a total of 40 hours on my own where I spent countless dollars on gas, put countless miles on my car, and had my pitch rejected countless times.

I was also told countless times about the "opportunity" ahead of me if I kept working hard. I must say I was motiviated every day when I left the office both in the morning and in the evening. I now know that atmosphere both in the morning and evening was a very important part of the business and was a mind numbing way to motivate the slaves and manipulate them into always thinking about the big picture while overlooking the present reality. My reality was a draining bank account and a failing automobile. My big picture was a mirage.

Once I started to see faces disapear I started asking questions. That's when i finally snapped out of it and got myself out of this cult like business. I can say that this was a totally worthless experience and I was duped. When I went to quit I was told that I wasn't working hard enough. I wish these people everything they deserve in life.
