Consumer Award Advisory Service, C.A.A.S. Prize Distribution Center ripoff scam

Received a letter from this company today indicating I was a "Confirmed Cash Prize Winner" and all I had to do was send them $21.95 and make the check payable to "C.A.A.S." and mail it to "Prize Distribution Center, PO Box 579001, Las Vegas, NV 89157-9001"

I searched for the company online. And I found nothing. I searched for company via "Ask Jeeves".. And found info. Pertaining to other ripoffs from this company.

I called "00" and found there was no problem with the phone #702-648-1837.. I tried to explain the "ripoff" history involving this phone number associated with this company. But the operator said he was are unable to do anything about it.

If anybody who knows what action should be taken against the phone #.. You should pursue it with the proper agency.

If anybody knows what action should be taken with the U.S.P. S for the indicated PO Box. You should pursue it. Maybe the Post office will retrieve any mail in the box and return it to those who have sent this company money!!!

I personally did not send them any money!
I have the entire mail contents of the envelope if anybody needs it for any legal purposes.

I hope this info helps others who may be scammed.
