Ripoff! Had to much of my personal info without my knowledge or consent

I recieved call from male of Asian decent stating that I had won a gov't grant guaranteed from $5k minimum to $25K maximum. He stated his company, American Grant Information Center, but had entirely to much of my personal info without my consent or knowledge.
I went on internet and looked this up and this is when I told the individual on the phone that I was going to contact the authorities and the Better Business Bureau concerning this matter.
