American Grant Information Center Or U.S. Grant Information Center ripoff

I got a phone call on March 30 from a lady with an extremly heavy accent telling me I had been selected to recieve a $5,000 grant. I just assumed I had been selected because I am a student enrolled in FASFA (Financial Aid Services). There were many suspicious things that seemed weird to me like having to pay a processing fee of $249.00. I was stupid enough to give them my account info and continue through the verification department (supposedly).

I talked to a friend about it and she warned me that she had gotten scammed before and never recovered her money because they had recorded her saying yes to all their questions even though they had messed with the recording in order to get more or her money.

I looked up this website and now I am so scared! Because it is so late tonight and the bank is closed, I have to wait until tomorrow to close the account. I transfered all my money into my old checking account (luckily I just opened this new checking a week ago).

But I am still worried that they will somehow have access to my other checking account that I transfered all my money into. This of course is not the account that I gave them but it's freking me out that these people have the rounting numbers, name, and address info.

What should I do?
