DS-Max/Fresh Marketing inflated earnings on 1099

Sacrifices? They want us to make sacrifices to reach management level in this company, but do sacrifices include almost losing everything you own? That's what nearly happened and I had to make a decision to leave the company. It took a bit of time because I was stuck. I could not take another job and wait two weeks for my first check with no other income to feed my kids. Oh, yeah... The Toys for Tots campaign was supposed to be a big moneymaker... How bogus was that claim.

We had to double and triple up at events because there were not enough scheduled and how many did we lose because our event coordinator made claims that a Marine would be on hand with us. We were forced to give the Marine Corp Reserves broken and defective merchandise. I lost so much money through November and December and I starting losing things one by one and came within days of losing my home.

Now to make matters worse, I received my 1099 in the mail last week and it reported that I made more money than I actually did.in fact, I called the offices in Detroit and they have it listed that I started a week earlier than the date on my IDA and I even made over $300 that day. My fiance, who worked with the company for one day before realizing how bogus it was, made over $600 on his first day retrain. Kinda funny, cuz I only paid him $50 out of my pocket.

I requested by phone that they forward me a copy of both of our itemized earnings list submitted to them by Fresh Marketing, Inc. I have yet to receive it, so I will be making another request in writing this week, forwarding a copy to the IRS. I refuse to pay taxes on money I did not make, because in 3.5 months with the company, I didn't come anywhere close to what they reported I made. Anyone else have this problem and any tips on how to resolve? If they claim I made so much, show me the money.
