Nonpayment for services provided

Mrs. Kelly Lynch, who is the owner of the transcription service QDPRN, has ripped off a whole team of medical transcriptionists that were working for her. She has not paid for services performed. She has not paid me for the last two weeks of December or the bounced check fees that she said she would pay. I quit at the end of December due to two months of nonpayment issues. She went as far as overnighting two checks that bounced to try to get me to stay. She changed her phone numbers and would not give me the new one. I finally got it from another MT that worked for her, but she will not answer the phone or respond to emails or messages left on her phone. She just kept saying she was going to take care of it or the check is in the mail, but I have not seen a dime. There are at least seven ladies that I know of that have not been able to get paid by this lady. I have emailed Fox 2 News in Michigan as well. We do not know what to do about payment as we were independent contractors. She will not even respond to questions regarding why we have not received a 1099 for taxes. This lady needs to be stopped. She cannot get away with this!!! Any help would be greatfully appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time.
