GeneraL Savings Aka First Total Life Insurance ripoff!

The company called me on the phone and said they got my information from the computer. They told me they were not like other credit card companies. So i gave them my information. They also told me i would have a 2,000 credit limit and it would cost me 299.00 to get it activated.

Well a few days later i decided i didnt want the credit card so i called the 800 number back that they gave me and and a man anwsered and i told him i wanted to cancle the credit card and he told me that my information wasnt in the computer yet and just to call back anytime before the 7th of Feb.

Well I kept calling back and the number had been disconnected. I got worried so i looked it up on the computer and there was a website saying that company was a scam. So I called my bank and stopped all transactions fromm being made from my account and im going to open up a new account.
