HAH This Is A Joke Group Harvard Professional Joe Scanio more Like SCAMio Michael Poz Deceiver ripoff scammed me for thousands of dollars

In October I went to see Michael Poz of the Harvard Professional group and he convinced me that he was going to get me at least 3 interviews with the belief that I would have at least 1 job offer before Thanksgiving 2003. He said that it would be through his "extensive & "exclusive" unadvertised job markets that he would help find me a new career. I fully understand they cannot promise or guarantee a job but they could promise or guarantee an interview or interviews, which is what I was made to believe. I have had not been given any exclusive or extensive job listings that he said he had, instead he has used the same mass mailings and had me use the same search engines I would have used doing a conventional job search.

To date the services regarding any interviews have not been rendered, as I have gotten no interviews yet nor have I even received 1 phone call to set up an interview. I have had multiple meetings with Michael and various members of HPG to no avail. I have asked for a refund and he laughed at me and when I told him I was going to the BBB and Department of Consumer Affairs he laughed more. He instead changed counselors to help me. The second counselor has not produced anymore then the first one.

I was led to believe that the company would be pro active in trying to get me job interviews and they have not been very active in lining up any interviews for me at this time.in fact I realized they contradicted themselves when they sold me on their organization when I was told that the jobs I was looking for are not advertised in the paper or on websites but are listed through services like theirs through past placements. Then they have me looking through the papers and online for jobs to respond to. They also gave me a list of agencies to send my resume to even though they said before I signed on these agencies do not get the jobs I am looking for. I am very dissatisfied with their service and how they conduct business.

I have been very patient with this organization but after more then 12 months of meeting weekly (I finally stopped going weekly after about 8 months then found out the woman I was working with left the company when I contacted her online. I was not even given a courtesy call to tell me she was gone. She did tell me she could offer me her services still or transfer me to yet another counselor.) I was transferred to a third counselor who took more then a week to get me the information needed to start working with him and then after I emailed it back I have yet to hear back from him. It is now more then a month and have yet to hear from Michael Lynch, Michael Poz or Stephanie Davis. I have left messages put nothing has been done. Being told they DON'T KNOW WHY I am not getting any interviews, hunting web sites, papers and other avenues on my own while not getting anything from their end is more then frustrating, it is reprehensible and a complete mis representation of their service.

It is for this reason I am writing to you. I did not mention initially, but I gave them a $6000.00 retainer to them with the premise that I would be getting it back within a month as part of a signing bonus from the new job they told me I would get.

After trying to reach Joe Scanio the one call I had with him he ended up getting nasty and hanging up on me. Surprise surprise he is never in when I called him back... Coincidence... I think not
