Nortel along with other sleezy telecom companies are using "courtesy" interviews to cover up their suffering business tracks.interviews look good on a company's resume. It makes them look like they are hiring... Are they really?

Nortel's stock has been dwindling along $3.77 for about a year. Just recently Nortel Canada just released news that 3500 jobs are trimmed in an effort to save $. Looks like Nortel has NO JOB OPENINGS but every imaginable JOB POSTING and Interview.

If you like nerve recking PANEL and STRESS interviews, by all means, use Nortel to sharpen your skills. Hey, you may not come out with a job offer but experience is key to land the next job.

WHAT IS A COURTESY INTERVIEW? A courtesy interview is an interview conducted using your time and effort all for show. They have NO INTENTION of hiring you. The intention of a courtesy interview is that in all hopes you spread the word that they are hiring because you and some others had interviews with them.
