Concepts In Stone AKA CIS Marble Ripoff Con Artists Thieves Fort Myers Naples

Concepts in stone promised my husband a beautiful marble mantel. If ordered by Spetember they would promise the delivery by that Christmas. The mantel would be custom made and shipped to us from Italy. Sophia, Dunya and Ed (oh and later on a Janet appeared on the emails).

As previosu people indicated, once we ordered and paid half, we did not hear anything until I contacted them a couple weeks before Xmas-of course they told me the shipment was hung up in customs due to the holiday rush. From that point on, I would have to contact them, they never contacted me. They would intermittedly anser my emails or phone calls with another lie and then ingnore me for weeks or months.

I finally contacted the BBB and filed a complaint. CIS ignore the BBB as well. Glad to hear I was not the only one. This went on their file. Once they saw my complaint attached to the emails I was sending, they said that they would get me my mantel immediately. Of course they never followed through.

After 10 months of waiting, I contacted the Florida Attorney General and filed a complaint (cc'ing CIS all along). I received a response from "Janet" that next day saying it had been shipped and could be tracked on www.overnite.com. Of course after a couple days and I did not hear anything from them, I contacted "overnite" who said that they never received a shipment from CIS. So ocne again, I advised I wouls sue and publish their information on the lcoal news, so they finally sent me tracking number for "Emery". I called Emery and they indeed said they ahd a shipment for me.

However, after a week, I called again and they indicated that tehy were unable to deliver it because CIS did not pay their bill. After 7 days, the man I was working with at Emery decided to send a guy to the physical location that they picked the matel up at, and lo and behold, the place was deserted. So, the man offered to deliver my shipment for the cost. Once it got to my home, we opened up the crate and it was a completely different mantel. NOTHING like the one we customer ordered. It looked as if they just threw one in a box and shipped it.

Now we are attempting to work with the Floriday State Attorney General to obtain our money back. Please all who have been screwed by this company. Contact the FL State attorny general. The more people that complain the more action we will see.
