Damaged to car - Oil change

I went in for an oil change and he technicia broke my lever to release my hood. He broke the lever clean off. They tried to tell me it must have had a problem before it didn't! They drilled it back in using ascrew to attachd it, but guess whose hood does not open. I know need my car inspected and n oil change and I cannot get my hood open. Now I have a unecessary repair bill, had they been more careful.
