Cooking Pleasures Deluxe Forged Cutlery
"Club" scam after free online offe

Construction & Repair

I accepted an online offer for a free kitchen knife; I was only charged for the shipping costs. The knife arrived.
Today, I received a second kitchen knife, was told I had "joined" a kind of "knife of the month" club (I had not), and that my
credit card (how did they know my credit card number?) was being charged for $88.94.in the cover letter was written
"You may cancel at any time by notifying us by phone, " but they list no phone number or email address. I will snd back this knife (at my expense!), and order them to remove my name from their "membership" list and refund the $88.94 to my cedit card account. As I seee tht others have reported this same story regarding "Cooking Pleasures" of Hopkins MN, I can only presume they are a scam outfit, defrauding people by false advertising. Should I also report them to a state or national consumer protection agency?
