Ten years before I created a custom house with 75 Andersen windows. 26 of these covered removable grilles for easy cleanup. The grilles have snapped repeatedly through the years. All of the period I've fixed them; nevertheless occasionally I want them changed. Andersen changed the grilles on-demand for that guarantee period but created no changes towards the grilles for that 10-yr interval. I'm today almost out-of warranty period, and regardless of the changed grilles being newer compared to unique screen 10-yr guarantee, they'll no further substitute them and need me to purchase them. Preservation price (and time!) must be considered when buying these already expensive windows.
