Lace eye grommets in a pair of CCM 04 Vector ice hockey goalie skates were pulling out and shredding laces. Took them to Lyndhurst Luggage-Shoe Repair. They told me it would take two weeks but that the repairs could be done. I returned one day early to the shop and was told pick them up tomorrow. Called next day, skates still not completed check back next week. 4 weeks, numerous phone calls, many excuses and still a 90 minute wait in shop later skates returned. Lace eye grommets are for shoes not skates, all pulled out upon first time lacing skates up. Returned to shop, given full refund and told best they could do. I am now left with a pair of $200 skates that are ruined.
