Overpriced Shoddy Carpet

Do not use this company. They are a total ripoff. Let me say it is my fault for not doing the leg work because I wanted it done yesterday. The service was prompt, the salesperson came out right away and the installers were also on time and did a good job. The carpet however is substandard. I was charged $3600. For 700sq ft of carpet even though I was told I only needed 547. The salesperson said I would have too many seams if I did not purchase the extra footage. Is this common practice? I am not sure. The carpet is thin and when I step on it I can feel the cement slab underneath, if it last three years I will be amazed. I priced carpet afterwards and feel I overpaid by about $1500. Again, entirely my own fault but would like others to benifit from my stupidity.
