I purchased a berber carpet from White's back in November. The day it was installed, I noticed it had stains on the carpet. I immediately called the company and requested someone come out and take a look at it prior to my furniture being delivered as I did not want to be blamed for spoting the new carpet.

An employee by the name of Mark Spencer came out with a bottle of carpet stain removal and proceeded to show me how to get rid of the stains! I told him I wanted a rep from the carpet mill to come out and take a look at the carpet.

This never happened. Last week I was vacuuming the carpet when a seam came apart. I called the company and spoke with Mark Spencer again, who at first tried to tell me that was the "nature of berber". I told him I wanted someone from the company to come out and take a look at it.

Our appointment was set for March 31st, a week and a half from the day I called. I waited until 10:00 am and called to find out what time they were coming out. I was told "they forgot" and we would need to reschedule, when I asked what the new day and time was, I was told "they didn't know". I am now stuck with defective carpet and am getting no results from White's Discount Carpet, my carpet looks horrible. I have also made another request for a mill rep to come out but who knows if this will ever happen.

I feel I won't be getting any results from this company as I've been told Jeff White, the owner, doesn't really care if you're unhappy with his product and most of his employees are doing drugs! What is my recourse??
