Even though my wife was dying, they still continued to rip us off!

Well, I just got finished reading reviews on Trinity Homes and wish that I had seen this before I got involved with these builders! Just about every negative review that I have read, happened to me and my now deceased wife. My wife got to live in our new home 6 mths before she passed. I had tried to contact the builder, superintendent, ect... With no response or concern. Trinity also over charged, made promises until I refused to pay untill all was fixed. They said they would send a mediation person to talk with us to try to solve the problem. I was not home and had not been informed of when they might be coming, Trinity Homes knew that my wife was terminally ill with cancer, we found out after we started building. So... They showed up, or so they say and my wife was in bed (dying) and did not go to the door and they left. Without calling to reschedule. Trinity Homes decided they would make there own report. Filed it and put a judgement on our property. While this was going on my wife died! I still did not even know that they had been to my house for a mediation, they never gave me the chance to show or tell them, what needed to be fixed or overcharged or was just plain put in wrong... All the way up to the framing. I thought people in the United States of America would atleast show some compassion and not try to screw you in your most darkest hour, but they did in fact, do just that! I was left to raise two foster children of which I adopted and was just trying to survive... One day at a time. Of course the economy fell out that year.

I'm a Police Officer and I was trying to get my loan modified, to try and save our home (when we started building the house, we had two salaries) to get my payments lowered and we recieved a notice that the bank can not do anything to help us, untill the LEAN on my home from Trinity Homes is paid to to tune of 31,000.00 (thats with interest). Trinity started out saying we owed them 22,000.00 for the work that was either... incomplete or not done or done wrong! The one main reason my wife and I picked Trinity Homes was because we had heard they were a CHRISTIAN based company. Well let me tell you something... JWDT = Jesus wouldn't do that!!! It is a good thing I'm related to a Congressman that has the connections that will blow this Company to their knees... I bet they will pray to someone, the MEDIA will have a hayday with this one! I'm so sorry that anyone would have to go through thsi, but it looks and sounds like there is alot out there. Lets stand together and stop Companies like this!
