People please beware of this man!!! He lures customers in with a lower price and then demands more money once the job has started. He is NOT LEGIT and neither is his business. Raul Perez came out to my house posing as a licensed contractor for a non-existent company called High End Remodeling Corp (www.highendremodelingcorp.com). After assessing the job he agreed to do remodeling work in my basement, utility room, and foyer area. The project was estimated to take three weeks to complete. I began to notice problems after his first week on the job. He began refusing to adhere to terms negotiated in the contract beforehand. He denied having ever discussed fixing the basement hallway and told me he had no intentions of doing that area. He was supposed to furnish all materials necessary for the job with the exception of tiles for the foyer area and the sink and window for the bathroom. He opened up supplies and tools that I already had on the work site and used them without my permission-without deducting anything from the overall cost. He started leaving work early and taking days off. Shortly after he received the second payment, he informed me that he was on a budget and did not have any more money to buy supplies.in order to complete the job, he wanted me to sign another contract stating that I would get all of the materials and pay him the lump sum at the end of the project. At the time this ultimatum was given I was already in a catch 22: I was out $8,000 and the work was no where near completion. None of the rooms were finished, my basement, utility room, and foyer area was all in shambles. He came back pretending that he was still on the job and intended to finish, all the while he was packing up his tools and preparing to walk off the job.
