Bought a property gave them earnest money now endless eamils getting money back ft myers florida

Auction.com had a real estate auction in Ft myers fla. I was the winning bid on a property. They require a 2500 deposit in certified funds. I gave them the deposit... 2 days later i get a email saying the bank did not accept my offer and they wanted to know if i was willing to bid higher I instructed the that was final bid and if they didnt accept that i wanted my earnst money back I have had seveal emails from auction.com I call them Phantom emails but not money back I think this could be soem kind of scheme they have going on holding all this money and taking their sweet time returing the money. My next step is the atty genral Florida
