Garden Club with no useful purpose!

I joined this club looking for a magazine with gardening information - I have yet to receive a magazine. I did get - and returned, following all directions carefully! - a book that was to be the first edition of a Gardening Library. Don't need it/Don't want it. Now I've been asked to pay for or return the book — it was returned weeks ago.
Based on other things I've read, looks like I'm going to be fighting this for a long time!
