These guys certainly earnt the unpleasant reputation they have gained in consumer blogs (which I stupidly failed to consult before using them). I sent my Gaggia machine to them for a service and to replace the dredge drawer. I had purchased the machine from the same people about 4 years ago. Once it was shipped to them, the nightmare began, as they repeatedly failed to communicate to me the status of the repair eitherby phone or email despite my constant attempts to contact them. I lodged a complaint with the NY Consumer Protection Board, and advisedAabree accordingly which finally elicited a response which did not really acknowledge my complaints. Then they went off the air again, so I updated my complaint to the Consumer Protection Board, which again finally elicited a response that the machine would be ready upon payment of $340.00. The price I had been given for a service was $85.00. I received no explanation of the repairs effected. The Monty Pythonesque skit continued with theircredit card system going off-line requiring me to call yet again. The interactive phone system makes some outsourcedset-up in New Delhi for sex pills look highly efficient. These guys really are appalling, so take your business elsewhere. An espresso machine is a significant and important investment requiring good follow-up customer service. Which is just what you won't get at Aabree.
