Bogus Product Full Lifetime Warranty

I attempted to facilitate the use of Rubbermaids simple warranty on my Servin' Saver products. Warranty simply states: to recieve a replacment, write to Rubbermaid Inc Consumer Services, 1147 Akron Rd, Wooster OH 44691, with the four-digit product code and nature of defect.
They refuse to honor their warranty, first stating that there wasn't one, then stating I had to prove there was a warranty, and then after I emailed them a scanned copy of their warranty they decided to change the parameters of the warranty and laid down a laundry list of hoops I had to jump through including their demand that I had to surrender the original piece of paper the warranty was printed on.
Pretty lame that a company such as Rubbermaid would argue over their obligation to replace two $3 pieces of plastic.
