Overpriced scam with unethical use of doctored water pressure metering tool

I called the company Christian Brothers plumbing to come out and check for a leak under the foundation slab. The guy showed up, Mike Gomez, seemed pleasant and professional as he lectured me on companies honesty policies. When confronted with the task at hand, he said he did not have the gear to properly assess the problem. He then pulled out a water pressure meter and told me my pipe problem was possibly caused by faulty and overpressure water supply. The guy then tried repeatedly to up-sell me on a whole home water conditioning system... in the middle of a plumbing Catastrophy! He then tried to sell me a home warranty plumbing contract! Are you for real I was thinking. He then whipped out his Water pressure (meter) and arrived at 80 lbs of pressure written on my paperwork, but told me 85... He then said a PRV (pressure reducer valve needed to be installed on my hose bib. This was part of my problem and it needed to be fixed. My normal plumbers (busy due to holiday) do this all the time for $ 75... His price, $659... But he was giving me a VALUE RATE of only $556.40... This mind you involves cutting the hose bib water supply line in half and removing a small section, then soldering in a valve... Not rocket science... My guys do it in a half hour! With the valve! Now, when presented with the price, I almost, well you know... But this is not the horrific part. After I sent the commissioned gentleman on his way... I pulled out MY Watts (new) water meter and metered it myself... Yep, 64 lbs. My neighbor came over with his. Yep 64 lbs. Total scam, all of it. Beware and do not use this company! They refused to return phone calls from the owner to me... All day long. Christian brothers rip off-NOT Christians by the way...
