I have a mortgage with Bank of America. I was in bankrupcy two years ago and BOA told me to dismiss it to get modified. Well its been almost two years, and they kept giving me excuses saying they did not make a decision yet. This year I got in the mail, a sheriff sale. I never got a denial letter, or anything. When I talked to this person, he was very nasty and I told him maybe i should contact the media and tell them what all BOA did to me for two years. And my loan is a VA LOAN. I'm disabled and I am raising a disabled child in a wheelchair on my own. I had a company said they would help with the modification, but they turned out to be a scam. They took my money and never did anything to help. Luckily I turned them in and got my money back. Now the laywer i have now, BOA told her to send another hardship letter, and all up to date papers. I did that. It came so close to the sheriffs sale, I had to do something to save my home. So now i'm in chapter 13 again, because BOA, screwed me over, and told me they would give me a modification. I never heard from them about anything "AGAIN". This Mr. Turley whom I talked to is a very nasty man. He was willing to put a disabled child and a disabled mother out on the streets. Bank of america plays with you, tells you to dismiss your bankrupcy, you wait for them to modify it, they tell you nothing and then you get in the mail a letter for a "Sheriff Sale". Now I'm in more arrears because BOA screwed me over and I almost lost my home. My daughter and I would be out on the streets if I wouldnt have filed for a chapter 13. Then when I talked to this Mr. Turley again, he told me to dismiss this bankrupcy I'm in now to get modified. LIke I really trust BOA. I wouldve lost my home if I would'nt have done this. They do not care about anyone. Those bailouts only saved the banks not the people, and the banks do not care...
