New Construction home and the concrete is already cracking in less than 7 months

I purchased a new construction Beazer Home in Feb.in Sept I noticed a crack in front of the main entrance which extended to the mortar joints in the bricks beneath the front door. I contacted Beazer and their fine (not) rep came to my home and told me it was not structural and I should read my warranty (three times) it wasn't covered. I told him I guessed poor workmanship wasn't covered by Beazer either. I contacted the BBB and Beazer gave the old, Shrinkage of concrete answer. That is used by contractors who have a$ do their jobs.

I worked in the concrete business for about 10yrs, and if the site is properly prepped and slump is correct you won't have these type problems. I could go on and on about this but the fact remains I have a crack in my porch directly in my front door, and nothing I can do but pay to have it repaired myself.
