Beazer Homes
Hit and Run RipOff

Miscellaneous

Beware 1st time home buyers. Beazer Homes will leave you feeling like a fooled child.

While looking for a 1st home my wife and I came across a Beazer community that seemed to be exactly what we were looking for. Affordable price, good sq footage, and perfect location.

However, the benefits that Beazer kept wispering in our ears soon began to reveal themselves as lies.

We purchased a 3 month old inventory home and everything looked pretty good. After 3 months things started to fall apart. The phone outlets (that can't be checked until service is set up) didnt work-3/4 of all the electrical outlets did not work - The ceramic tile covering the interior of the entry way began to crack (not from homeowner damage) The glass covering the fireplace was found to be warped and became more so after the first use-The trim on the upgraded kitchen island has falled off several times-the backsplash trim on the counter top has pulled away from the wall-The foundation and front porch has a crack growing by day in it-The house has an electrical surge that occures randomly and sometimes for a significant period of time-the overhead kitchen light has fallen off of the ceiling several times—Etc.

Every day seems like a game to figure out what will fall apart next..

And what has Beazer done to fix the problems that we're having?

Nothing.

Even with our warrenty in hand they have done nothing but blame subcontractors and wiggle around the issue with what seems like an intent to wear us into submission.

2 months ago we found out that Beazer had sold its rights to the rest of the subdivision. Due to lack of buyer interest..

We were the last house to sell for a period of 5 months..

Beware buyers
Beazer may promise complete satisfaction, however the satisfation that they are promising is theirs.

Do not buy a house from Beazer unless you want to join the growing line of outraged customers that they have all ready deceived~
